Forge supports OpenAI-compatible chat endpoints and the OpenAI Responses API for gpt-6-astra. For OpenAI, enter https://api.openai.com/v1 as the endpoint. Pick a free provider below, or see where to get an API key in the FREE MODELS guide.

Sign up for a free API key on any provider, then tap USE PRESET to load its endpoint + model into the settings form. Forge (and its agent) keeps discovering and registering new free providers automatically, so this list can keep growing. Quotas, limits, and terms change often — confirm on each site. Free tiers may use your data for training and have no SLA.
